SALIENT FEATURES :

             Adtron’s Feeder & Motor Protection Panel is a very versatile and useful electrical training system. It provides various experiments on Feeder & Motor Protection. The complete system consists of a three phase feeder with bus bar, output line meters, indicating lamps, contactors / relay, protection relay and other necessary accessories for independent study. Necessary non – destructive fault simulations are provided (motor is not provided ). The control panel consists of:

*          3 Phase Feeder with Bus Bar :

             A small section of 3 phase cable will be arranged to represent the 11KV feeder connected to bus bar. Bus bars will be mounted on insulators with colour code for identification.

*          Output Line :

            Output line from bus bar will be taken out to represent input to motor through meters.

*          Metering & Inducting Lamps :

 i.          Voltmeter 0 – 500 V selector switch at input and motor input terminals.

ii.          Ammeter 0 – 10 A in one phase of motor input.

iii.         Indicators for bus bar & motor input.

*          Contactors & Fuses :

             Contactors at feeder input, bus bar input, bus bar output, motor input. Operated through 230 V, 50 Hz auxiliary supply. HRC fuse protection for motor.

*          Relays :

            Panel will be mounted with mP base relay, permanently connected in feeder and motor circuit. The separate relay will be used for:

a.         Motor protection by using 01 no. of mP digital type relay giving following protection:

                        i.          Earth fault.

                        ii.          Current balance.

                        iii.         Over current.

                        iv.         Locked rotor.

b.         Feeder protection by using 01 no. of mP digital type relay giving following protection:

                        i.          Earth fault.

                        ii.          Over current SC.

                        iii.         Thermal overload.

                        iv.         Inrush protection.

*          Fault Simulation :

             Fault simulation circuits will be provided for :

a.         Motor Circuit:

                        i.          Earth fault.

                        ii.          Current balance.

                        iii.         Locked rotor.

b.        Feeder Circuit:

                         i.          Earth fault.

                        ii.          Over current by SC.

                        iii.         Thermal simulation.

 *          Instruction Manual :

             A detailed instructional / operational manual with details and circuit drawing is provided for students and teachers.
